News from Vigilus Open Weekend Part 2 (Games Workshop)

Hey welcome back.  Sorry due to health issues at the moment I am having trouble sitting down and typing out posts so this is part two of what has gone on at the Vigilus Open Weekend over at Warhammer World.  You can check out part one HERE.

New Titan. Given the success of Adeptus Titanicus, it was natural that this would spill over into Warhammer 40,000 and Forgeworld were showing of their latest creation for the much loved game, the all new Warbringer Nemesis class of Titan.  This model is going to be huge, and given its sheer size very expensive, as it comes in a near size to that of the Warlord Titan which costs £1200+ so not cheap.  Highly detailed and it looks really awesome but is it worth the price?

Next up we have the return of Karnak everyones’ favorite Khornite Flesh Hound.  This was the first of the Chaos related teases for the upcoming Wrath and Rapture, with the second being the return of a Slannesh favorite The Noise Marine, just in time for Christmas!

There was some hints towards a Genestealer Cult army and some models of new creatures and hybrids have surfaced on the internet and will no doubt appear very soon. Though two of the best looking models I have seen come from Vigilus are the Cultist quad bike, and the this Cultist who is standing at the side of a Comms table.  If you look at the comms table from above, it is actually an aerial map of Warhammer World!

Finally there was a tease for Chapter Approved 2018 which would expand on all the information so far this year, and include a complete character creation system for your own unique characters in the game! Plus another tease of the Sisters of Battle (my bet would be February 14th for a release date!).

I think that the Genestealer Cultists look likely to be the best new army in a long time for 40K and seem to have some amazing looking miniatures in their ranks.  Add to this the Sisters and 2019 looks like it will be a great year to be into Warhammer 40K
