Due for release anytime soon from Fantasy Flight Games for their excellent Star Wars Legion miniatures game is Bossk, the reptilian bounty hunter and hes just recently been previewed!
I always liked Bossk when I was younger, he was far more menacing than One Trick Pony ‘Boba Fett’ and besides he was a freaking dinosaur in a space suit (which had incidently been previously used in an episode of Doctor Who!)! Like Fett, Bossk has gained a cult following since his first appearance in The Empire Strikes Back, having his background expanded and making appearances in the hit Clone Wars animated series.
Okay so Bossk is a pretty rounded character with the Operative icon and will go towards your choices per list. Given that he has Bounty as a keyword means you can score extra points with him by placing bounties on models and then collecting them during the game.
He is speed two which means that he is not slow and ponderous like Darth Vader or Emperor Palpatine, but is pretty quick when he needs to be, and one of his command cards allows him not only attack twice in a turn, but also perform a free move action too. While slower than Boba Fett, Bossk ignores difficult terrain, has the Expert Climber trait, and best of all he can be a total beast in combat (pun intended)
His wounds are just 7 but he has the ability to regenerate up to 3 wounds per activation and also has the Enrage keyword when he has take 3 wounds, making him fearless.
Add to this the fact that he can use his Doxis Charges to poison units and his excellent 2-4 ranged attack with his rifle and he is a must have unit for your Imperial forces. Combine him with Boba Fett (who he was a mentor too during the Clone Wars) and you have an awesome combination of speed and lethal force for your games
