Aeronautica Imperialis unboxing. Games Workshop

Last night while I was at the awesome Ark Games Club night, I was lucky enough to get to take a look at the latest game from Games Workshop, the aerial combat game Aeronautica Imperialis.

First many thanks to the guys from for providing the product for me too look through.  This is not the first time that the game has been released as Forge World released their version of the game several years ago, and featured a line up of excellent resin aircraft from lots of different factions.

This new edition, however, is the first time that the game has been commercially available for purchase without going directly through Forge World, and while it shares a lot of things with the original, this is a completely different beast!

The miniatures are now lovingly rendered in high quality plastic with multiple options and are in a much larger scale (15mm rather than 10mm), and you get a great deal for your money too.

Aeronautica Imperialis:Wings of Vengeance includes

  • 2x Thunderbolt Fighters (these can also be built as Thunderbolt Furies)
  • 2x Marauder Bomber
  • 3x Dakkajets
  • 2x Fighter Bombers
  • 1x Rulebook
  • 1x Double-sided Area of Engagement battlemat
  • Lots of handy gubbins like dice, transfer sheets, tokens, quick reference guides and more.

Aeronautica Imperialis:Wings of Vengeance is available now from all good games stores!  Gamers Web highly recommends where you can save up to 20% on RRP and if you join the Ark Gaming Club for just £10.00 a year you can save 25% on purchases, no matter where in the world you live!

Visit the Ark for more details on the awesome club and the savings you can make.
