Judge Anderson Sighted. Warlord Games

Further to the post yesterday about the second wave of miniatures for the Judge Dredd Miniatures Game from those wonderful folks at Warlord Games, we now get our first look at the best psyker in the galaxy herself.

Warlord Games took to the official Facebook page for their 2000AD range of products today and teased the image below.

Don't Even Think it Creep! Judge Anderson Warlord Games

Anderson is one of the best-loved characters in British comics history and ever since her first appearance in the comic has been one of Dredds most trusted colleagues and among the people, he actually calls a friend!

She has been around since 1980, though she did spend several years encased in the miracle plastic ‘Boing’ with the alien super fiend Judge Death trapped within her powerful mind. Anderson has played a major part in many of Dredd’s most famous cases and stories over the past forty odd years and even got her own spin off strip, which saw the character become more than a two-dimensional routine cop.  Anderson has a troubled past and due to the nature of her Psi abilities, she has real problems at times, often plagued by other people’s personal demons around her.

Created by John Wagner and Brian Bolland, Cassandra Anderson was based on the image of the then hit pop star Debbie Harry, complete with blonde locks and flippant, almost punk attitude to life.

The new miniature for the Judge Dredd game will feature both an unmounted version of Anderson on foot and the Psi Judge mounted on her Lawmaster MKIII!  The set will also contain cards for the character and will be released in late January 2020!
