This weekend sees the annual Pax games convention over in Philadelphia, a gathering that while not as large as GenCon is still a pretty huge event.
Atomic Mass Games have been there over the weekend, running demos and doing painting workshops and chatting with folks about all things Marvel Crisis Protocol.
There have also been a few reveals at the convention too, and thankfully for those of us who are on the other side of the world, a lot of folks have taken the time to post images of upcoming releases over in Facebook.
Below is a small selection of images culled from different posts from folks over on the unofficial groups and by Atomic Mass Games themselves, sorry that I haven’t credited everyone and if you have an image you dont wish used please just mail me and I will remove it.
What we do know however is that there are a lot of releases heading our way in early 2020, most of which have a cosmic vibe to them. We had already seen most of the Guardians of the Galaxy models at the preview at GenCon this August, though Starlord, Gammora, Nebuls, Rocket and Groot are new joined by Drax the Enforcer and Rowan the Accuser.
Add to this a selection of cool Jack Kirby inspired cosmic terrain and Marvel Crisis Protocol goes in a whole new direction.
But it’s not just the Guardians who get a look in on the action as other models previewed for release during the first quarter of 2020 include Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glave, Ebony Maw and a towering Black Dwarf!
Also going back to Earth we got to see a brand new sculpt for Black Widow, joined by her friend and partner Hawkeye! And finally for all you Spidey fans out there we get one of the best looking sculpts yet in the form of arch nemesis Green Goblin! This is in my own opinion one of the single best looking models in the entire range shown so far, and that is saying something with stunning sculpts for Miles Morales and Ghost Spider already being fantastic!
Add to this some of the models that have already been shown such as Thanos and it’s a real mouth watering treat for those of us eager to see more
