Age of Sigmar: Mortal Realms Issue Two. Hachette Partworks

Here is my look at the latest issue of Age of Sigmar: Mortal Realms from Hachette Partworks, in conjunction with Games Workshop.  Image result for mortal realms issue 2

Issue 2 comes with  4 easy-to-build Banshees, Corax White paint, and standard Citadel paintbrush.

The magazine looks a little more at the history of Shyish and the Mortal Realms and goes into more about the terrifying lord of the undead Nagash, as well as taking a good long look at the Myremourn Banshees which you get in the magazine.

The Banshee models are push-fit, but I would strongly suggest gluing them together.  The models are well detailed and come with sculpted bases that feature a lot of skulls, bones and for some reason roses!  The magazine gives a quick guide on how to paint your models but it is really basic and just uses the white paint that comes with this issue!

Overall another great-looking new magazine that will help introduce new gamers to the hobby and once again well thought out and executed by Hachette Partworks!

Looking ahead over the next few weeks we find:

Issue 3 comes with 4 easy-to-build Castigators with Gryph-Hound and Retributor Armour paint.

Issue 4 comes with 4 easy-to-build Glavewraith Stalkers, Nihilakh Oxide paint and battle mat.

Issue 5 comes with  a unique miniature to this magazine Xandra Azurebolt for the Sigmar faction .

I plan on covering each issue in the same way as I did with Conquest but will try to go more in-depth with my weekly written reviews.
