The current global situation has affected every corner of the planet, and with the majority of people being on lockdown, businesses that are not deemed vital are bound o be affected as they have to think of the safety of their workforce and the logistics of supply and demand.
The games industry is no exception to this and it was announced by Atomic Mass Games that they have postponed upcoming releases for the time being.
From the press release
We at Atomic Mass Games feel an immense sense of responsibility to bring you the best hobby miniature experiences we possibly can, but first and foremost we have to do our part to keep the community safe. With that in mind, due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19, shelter-in-place orders, and the closure of non-essential businesses in many states, we—in partnership with our publisher Asmodee—have made the difficult decision to postpone all new releases for the month of April.
This decision was made with both the safety of our customers as well as the interest of retailers, many of whom have closed their doors for the duration of this pandemic.
As we continue to monitor the situation, we will adjust our plans accordingly. While we hope to return to regular releases in May, we will proceed in the best interest of our community as well as in accordance with current safety recommendations and protocols.
Please stay safe and, as always, we will get through this together.
