A few weeks ago I posted the details on Atomic Mass Games mysterious Twitter/Instagram post which hinted at bigger things coming to Marvel Crisis Protocol. Well, the live stream as just finished and here are the full details of the big announcement from the boys over in Seattle!
Well the wait is over and coming this November we will get four brand new boxed sets featuring some of the most iconic characters from The X-Men and Brotherhood of Mutants.
The stream was pretty short at less than twenty minutes but Will Shick thanked everyone for their support over the past year and stated that they had been hard at work behind the scenes on the upcoming miniatures that would be part of the Marvel Crisis Protocol Universe and not a second core set. Of course many of the X-Men have been part of other teams such as The Avengers, Defenders, Fantastic Four, so it makes sense not to keep them separate but part of me wishes that they had done so.
My prediction of the second core set was off but not by much as many of the characters I predicted are going to be in the first wave, seven out of ten isn’t that bad a prediction really.
The video that was shown to tease the new range was pretty cool and featured a look at the Xavier Insitute for Gifted Youngsters and some amazing paint jobs on the miniatures, and we wont have too long to wait for them to hit stores as they are due out around the first anniversary of the core game.
More coverage this weekend and why not head over to the official site to check out the times of the live streams from Atomic Mass Games.
