Marvel Crisis Protocol Reveals. Atomic Mass Games

Firstly sorry for the delay in posting about this but school work has been in the way recently. This weekend sees Atomic Mass Games host their first online Mini-stravaganza, three days dedicated to Marvel Crisis Protocol and Star Wars gaming.

Today was day one and had some great chats from Will and Dallas and other members of the team, kicked off by Simone Elliot and Will Shick in fine style and the event will carry on over the next few days. The event is being held on Twitch TV with images being revealed on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook throughout the event.

I wasn’t able to catch everything today due to other commitments (and the time zone difference) but here is what I did spy.

Some excellent new models for Marvel Crisis Protocol have been teased or shown off today and hopefully we will learn more about them over the coming weeks before their release. The recent releases have all seemed to centre around the X-Men, so for the moment they have taken a back seat of sorts and the attention has been pointed squarely at that most famous son of New York, Spider-Man and his foes.

As you can see in the video above we are getting some new bad guys to fight against the wallcrawler and friends, with The Lizard, Mysterio, and Kraven the Hunter, being joined by Carnage to bring terror to Spidey, and Spidey will also be getting some help (and hinderence no doubt) from his friend and foe Black Cat.

Add to this a New York Tenneament building and the future is looking excellent for Marvel Crisis Protocol.

I love the posing on Black Cat she looks fantastic and she has long been one of my favourite female characters in comicbooks and I can’t wait to get my hands on her and add her to my Spider-Man collection.

Another of my favourite characters is Kraven the Hunter and this model looks excellent and I am really looking forward to the challenge of painting him up once he is released.

I never really got into Venom and as such I am not to fused about Carnage but the model looks great, and you just know that hes going to cause all sorts of problems for Ole Webhead and chums

Mysterio is another Spider-Man villian who I can take or leave, but the look of this model really grabbed my attention. We got to see him very briefly in the X-Men reveal way back in November (though you needed far better vision than me to spot him) and he looks perfect to the comic book.

I have saved the best two till last in my own opinion, of course, those being The Amazing Spider-Man and The Lizard. If you have seen my Top 10 wish list (from way back in September 2019 before Marvel Crisis Protocol was released) you will see that a lot of my dreams have come true including the addition of Curt Conners aka The Lizard.

The Lizard is an outstanding model, erupting from a sewer and will be a dream to paint and dare I say that hes perhaps the best looking model since Thanos came out last year.

We are also getting a brand new Spidey to lead his group of Amazing friends, this one is The Amazing Spider-Man and is posed on a ruined section of the Daily Bugle and looks well, pretty much Amazing. I know that some are going to complain that we are getting yet another version of a character that is already in the core game, but to be honest I just want the model to paint up as it looks excellent.

I didn’t get much details on the building but I really would like several of these to flesh out a city scape if only I could afford them.

Well thats it for now as its almost 330am in the morning.

You can catch the rest of the Atomic Mass Games Mini-stravaganza, over the next two days with details below, including times of events.
