This weekend gone saw the first ever virtual GenCon event taking place, due to the restrictions imposed by Covid-19 that have left the world unable to function as normal.
Next week would have been one of the highlights of the gaming calendar as tens of thousands would have made their way to Indianapolis for the annual GenCon games convention.
It was very sad news indeed that GenCon cancelled its annual event for 2020 but given the circumstances, anyone would agree that it was the right decision to make. It was hope that a virtual con would take its place for this year and it looks likely that we will get one after all.
It was bound to happen that only a few hours after the news of Speil Essen being cancelled broke that the biggest games on in North America would follow suit. #stayinsavelives #stayhomestaysafe,
